This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to the www.apicontext.com website (the “Site”) and to the Service, as that term is defined in the APImetrics API Tool Subscription Agreement (the “Subscription Agreement”) (collectively, the Site and Service are the “API Tool”) and governs data collection and usage related to the API Tool. APIContext may collect personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address, telephone number, and company name (“Personal Information”). APIContext may also collect anonymous information, which is not unique to you when not combined with Personal Information, such as your postal code, age, gender, preferences, interests and API Tool settings (“Non-Personal Information”) (collectively, Personal Information and Non-Personal Information is “Information”). APIContext reserves the right to delete any Information at any time, without notice to you.Information about your computer hardware and software also may be automatically collected by APIContext. This Information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. This Information is used by APIContext for the operation of the API Tool, to maintain quality of the API Tool, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the API Tool.For quality assurance purposes, and in order to deliver the Services, APIContext and its representatives will have access to the data within your account. APIContext may provide you the opportunity to pay subscription fees or other payments through the Site. APIContext contracts with third-party service providers for payment services (the “Payment Providers”). APIContext does not collect or store your credit card information in connection with these transactions. By using the online payment option, you provide your information directly to the Payment Providers, and are subject to their privacy policies and terms and conditions. If you have questions regarding your transaction, please review the Payment Providers’ polices and terms or contact them directly. APIContext is not responsible for the actions of the Payment Providers, including their use or disclosure of Personal Information.

APIContext  collects and uses your Information to operate the API Tool, to deliver and support the Services you have requested, and to perform analysis related to the API Tool. APIContext will send you one or more emails during the registration process to confirm your email address and your acceptance of the terms governing your use of the API Tool. We will also periodically send service updates to registered users. APIContext and its representatives may use your Personal Information to inform you of other offers, support, products or services available from APIContext and its affiliates. APIContext may also contact you to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered. APIContext and its representatives do not sell, rent, or lease Personal Information to third parties. APIContext and its representatives may share your Non-Personal Information with third parties to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, and to provide customer support. APIContext and its representatives may share your Information with third parties to perform tasks required to complete a transaction. You are responsible for safeguarding and preventing unauthorized access to the user Information and password that you use to access the API Tool. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and you are responsible for any activity using your account, whether or not you authorized that activity. You must immediately notify APIContext of any unauthorized use of your account. APIContext secures Personal Information on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When Personal Information is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. You retain full ownership in and to all data (including Information) entered into the API Tool, and any and all outputs generated by the API Tool for your use in your discretion, subject to APIContext’s rights as described by this Privacy Policy, the Website Terms of Service, and the Subscription Agreement. You may choose to share outputs generated by your use of the API Tool with the public. Any outputs you do not choose to share with the public will be accessible only through your account.

Identifying Personal Information will not be made available at any time to any other Subscriber subscribing to the API Tool, unless you choose to share such information publically.

In an effort to provide value to all Subscribers, APIContext and certain third parties it contracts with maintain the right to use and present Non-Personal Information in an aggregated form reflecting combined data from multiple Subscribers for statistical reporting purposes only. Information collected by APIContext may be used for the purpose of identifying industry benchmarks, trends, and evaluating how to improve the Service for the benefit of all Subscribers. Presentation of aggregated Non-Personal Information will not reveal data that links to identifying Personal Information for any Subscriber.


APIContext does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use the API Tool.


APIContext will occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect company and customer feedback. APIContext and its representatives encourage you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how APIContext is protecting and using your Information.


APIContext may (1) assign your Information and its rights and duties under this Privacy Policy to an affiliate at any time without your consent and (2) may assign your Information and its rights and duties under this Privacy Policy to a third party without your consent, in connection with a sale of all or part of APIContext or its assets. You may not assign your rights under this TOS without APIContext’s advance written consent, and any assignments made by you without APIContext’s consent are void.
