API Performance Highlights
Creation Cards in the Open Banking UK Production API performance category decreased by 19% from 9.68 (in the Green Zone) to 7.79 (in the Yellow Zone). This was due to an increase in the start of the week in outliers affecting their V3.1 endpoints.
Reddit in the Social API performance category decreased by 22% from 9.78 (in the Green Zone) to 7.59 (in the Yellow Zone). This was due to an outage on the 14th which saw the OAuth API return HTTP 503, although interestingly this was noted as backend read error in the log.
The Deptartment of Commerce in the U.S. Government API performance category decreased by 20% from 7.78 (in the Yellow Zone) to 6.2 (in the Yellow Zone). This was due to clusters of outliers each day, coupled with some failures which saw the endpoints return HTTP 502. This was coupled with a large jump in DNS lookup time, up to 508ms (+129%) as well as a jump in download time.
